México.- La diputada local del Distrito XI de Jalapa, Veracuz por Morena, Ana Miriam Ferráez se metió a la polémica luego de que propusiera que para disminuir el índice de feminicidios se debe aplicar un toque de queda para que las mujeres no salgan después de las 10 de la noche.
Sin explicar estadísticas que indiquen que el delito se incremente a partir de las 22:00 horas, la diputada de Morena sostuvo sus dichos al ser cuestionada sobre lo qué están haciendo las autoridades estatales para erradicar el delito.
Lo he estado pensando, una y otra vez, y un toque de queda sería una opción.
“Opino que es necesario hasta un toque de queda para las mujeres y que no salgan de casa a partir de las 10 de la noche mientras esto se arregla”, dijo en entrevista.

Tras la declaración reporteros le preguntaron si esto no es violatorio de los derechos humanos y prohíbe la recreación a lo que respondió:
“Que puedan evitar ponerse en riesgo no es coartar su libertad”.
