Entre música y al grito de “¡Viva Oaxaca!”, este sábado se realizó el tercer y último Convite de la Guelaguetza 2024.
A partir de las 18 horas y con las notas de fondo del Jarabe Mixteco, el contingente integrado por representantes de diversas delegaciones que intervendrán en la máxima fiesta de los oaxaqueños, partió de la Cruz de Piedra, en el barrio de Xochimilco, y tuvo como punto final la Alameda de León.
Entre marmotas, fuegos artificiales y los tradicionales toritos, cientos de turistas y ciudadanos locales pudieron presenciar, como cada año, las diversas manifestaciones culturales del estado de Oaxaca; en esta ocasión, para invitar a la Guelaguetza.
Encabezados por la diosa Centéotl, Juana Hernández, los participantes recorrieron las calles de García Vigil, Allende, Alcalá, Morelos y nuevamente retomaron García Vigil.
El de esta tarde, se trató del último anuncio del comienzo de las fiestas de los Lunes del Cerro, que en 2024 se llevarán a cabo los próximos 22 y 29 de julio.
Una vez concluidos los tres convites, el 20 de julio se realizará el Desfile de Delegaciones, preámbulo de lo que es sido considerado el encuentro cultural más grande de Latinoamérica.
“La emoción en el aire es palpable y las calles de Oaxaca se llenan de vida con cada tambor, cada danza y cada sonrisa.
“A medida que nos acercamos a nuestra máxima fiesta, el espíritu de la Guelaguetza se siente con más fuerza que nunca”, compartió en redes sociales la artista oaxaqueña, Miroslava Ferra.
